Overview

The BRIDGEplate allows any computer with a USB port to communicate with and control a stack of Pi-Plates, eliminating the need for a Raspberry Pi. It has been tested with Windows, Linux, and macOS with the following programming options:

  1. Interactively with a terminal emulator such as Putty on Windows and Linux or SerialTools on the Mac.
  2. Programmatically and interactively with Python on Windows, Mac, and Linux using the cross functional BRIDGEplate.py module.
  3. Programmatically with C on Windows and Linux using our BRIDGEplate.c library (Mac pending)
  4. Programmatically with  LabView on Windows using the BRIDGEplateVI
  5. With the free PIPLATElogger software on Windows and Mac (Linux pending)
