The BRIDGEplate allows any computer with a USB port to communicate with and control a stack of Pi-Plates, eliminating the need for a Raspberry Pi.

1. USB microB input for data and up to 500mA of 5V power
2. A USB C power-only connector for up to 3A of 5V power.

4. A boot enable header for field updates
5. The 2x20 header for attachment of Pi-Plates
6. Power management ICs for regulating and switching power
7. The RP2350 microprocessor, crystal and QSPI flash memory
8. A heartbeat led that blinks at 0.5 Hz
