Shipping

Pi-Plates uses U.S. Postal Service Flat Rate Priority Mail for all of their domestic and international shipping. This allows your package to be insured and trackable, and provides a typical transit time in the U.S. of 2 to 3 days. Products are typically shipped within one to two days upon receipt of your order. Exceptions are American holidays including Thanksgiving and the Christmas holidays.

For International shipments:

• Check with your local postal service and verify that they will accept packages from the United States.
• You (the buyer) are responsible for any taxes, fees, duties, VAT or other charges which may be imposed by your post office or other government agency in your country.  Any such charges are NOT included in the purchase price or shipping charge. If in doubt, please check with your own post office before placing an order.
• We can not expedite any shipments through your local customs. Please contact your customs office if your shipment is being delayed there.
• Once a shipment arrives in your country, we are not responsible if it is delayed or lost by your local postal service.

All Pi-Plate circuit boards are shipped in anti-static bags using USPS packaging. The bags ensure that the electronics will not be damaged by electrostatic discharge while using USPS packaging ensures low shipping weight and minimal paper waste.

Returns

Pi-Plates have a one year warranty against hardware defects. If your Pi-Plate board fails within this time frame, please send us a note on the Support page so we can arrange a return. We are reasonable people so please understand if we choose not to replace or refund your order if we determine that the root cause of failure was operator error or exceeding design limits. Some typical signs of this include exploded chips, melted connectors, and charring on the printed circuit boards.
