The Pi-Plates DAQCplate (DAC-SEE) adds a rich set of input/output options to your Raspberry Pi. It includes 7 powerful digital outputs for driving external devices such as relays and high current LEDs as well as 8 analog to digital inputs for measuring temperature, voltage, humidity and more.  In addition there are eight digital inputs, two analog outputs, and seven general purpose indicator LEDs. The datasheet below contains all of the features of this powerful board:

General

  • Dedicated onboard processor
  • Provides real time data collection
  • Allows for future code updates
  • Only needs two dedicated RPI pins (GPIO 25 and CE1)1
  • All features accessible via rich Python command set
  • Control with node-RED using a 3rd party library
  • Compatible with all versions of Raspberry Pi
  • Design  allows up to eight DAQCplates to be stacked together for eight times the I/O
  • Uses less than 20mA of DC current during standby2
  • Conforms to ROHS, FCC Part 15 Class A, and CE
    standards
  • All inputs and outputs ESD and overvoltage protected
  • Protects your Raspberry Pi while providing enhanced I/O
  • Includes programmable bi-color LED
  • Capable of reading up to seven HC-SR04 distance sensors
  • Each DAQCplate is 100% tested and verified

  • 0 to 4.096V input range
  • 10 bit resolution
  • Maximum 1Khz sampling rate of single channel
  • Dedicated channel for measuring power supply voltage

Analog Outputs

  • Two protected outputs
  • 0 to 4.096V output range
  • 10 bit resolution

Digital Inputs

  • 8 protected inputs
  • 3.3 and 5.0 logic compatible
  • Each input capable of reading a DS18B20 temperature sensor
  • Can be polled or programmed to generate an interrupt on change3

Open Collector Outputs

  • 7 Outputs
  • Indicator LEDs on each output
  • 350mA sink current for each channel

  • Maximum load voltage of 12VDC

Pulse Width Modulators

  • Two protected independent outputs
  • 10 bits of resolution
  • Resource shared with Analog Outputs

Programmable Pushbutton

  • Can be programmed to act as a power switch by shorting GPIO 24 to ground when pressed
  • Can be polled or programmed to generate an interrupt on change3
  • Can be used in conjunction with bi-color LED to
    indicate system power state

Auxiliary Input Power

  • Allows use of more robust and better regulated 5VDC power supply
  • Reverse polarity protected

Compatibility

  • RELAYplate
  • MOTORplate
  • PROTOplate
  • CASEplate

Notes

  1. More pins may be required if additional features are enabled
  2. Current will increase as LEDs are turned on or if 5VDC is used to power open collector loads
  3. GPIO 22 is required when interrupts are enabled
